These terms govern your use of the MileMark iPhone app. The license for the MileMark application also follows Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). In the event of any conflict, Apple's EULA governs the software license, and these terms govern subscriptions and record-keeping expectations.

Automated Record-Keeping, Not Tax or Financial Advice

MileMark is designed to help you record driving trips, calculate mileage deductions based on published IRS standard mileage rates or custom rates, and export summary reports.

• Deduction figures and tax estimates are calculated automatically from your device's trip records and rates. They do not constitute formal tax, legal, or accounting advice.
• CoreFeld is not a certified public accounting firm, tax preparer, or legal advisor, and does not file tax returns or submit mileage records to the IRS on your behalf.
• You are solely responsible for ensuring that your mileage classifications, logs, and deduction claims satisfy IRS substantiation requirements and all applicable laws.
• Always consult a qualified tax professional or CPA regarding your tax filing and deduction eligibility.

Subscriptions & Purchases (MileMark Pro)

MileMark Pro is offered via auto-renewable subscriptions (Monthly and Yearly) and as a one-time non-consumable Lifetime purchase through Apple In-App Purchase.

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate selected upon purchase.
• You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time in your Apple Account Settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• All refund requests are handled exclusively by Apple pursuant to App Store policies.
• Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.

Your Data and Records

All trip records, notes, and vehicle details remain stored locally on your device. CoreFeld maintains no copies of your data. You are responsible for preserving regular exports or device backups to protect your records against device loss or damage.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CoreFeld LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, tax penalties, or data loss arising from your use of MileMark. The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
